Donut Kitty Return & Refund Policy

(aka: The “No Sad Kitties” Policy)

At Donut Kitty, we want you to be obsessed with your purchase. But if something isn’t right, we’re here to help—within reason, of course.

The Basics: Can I Return This?

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a return. After that, it’s a done deal. (Even we can’t turn back time, no matter how magical our donuts are.)

To qualify for a return:
✅ Your item must be unused, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging (because we’re not a lost-and-found for used goodies).
No returns on food or coffee. Once it leaves our hands, it’s yours forever.
❌ We also can’t accept returns on:

  • Items that are opened, worn, stained, or damaged (We love messy eaters, but not messy returns.)
  • Gift cards (Sorry, but these are basically catnip—non-refundable and non-returnable.)
  • Opened sticker packs (Sticky Paws). Once they’re out, they’re out.
  • Personal care items (We don’t want your half-used lip balm. Ew.)

How to Start a Return

  • Email us at support@donutkitty.com with your order number and details.
  • Our customer support team will send you return instructions.
  • You ship the item back (yes, you cover the shipping cost). We recommend using a trackable service—if it gets lost in the void, we can’t help.

Refunds: Where's My Money?

Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect it to make sure it meets the criteria. If approved, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method (usually within a few business days, but banks can be slow).

If your refund is taking forever:

    1. Check your bank account.
    2. Call your credit card company (sometimes they drag their paws).
    3. If all else fails, email us at support@donutkitty.com. We got you.

Exchanges: Defective or Damaged Stuff

If your item arrived broken or defective (big yikes), we’ll replace it for the same item. Email support@donutkitty.com with photos, and we’ll make it right.

Sale Items: Final Sale Means Final Sale

Discounted items are not eligible for refunds—because deals are deals.

Gifts: The Plot Thickens

🎁 If your item was marked as a gift at checkout and shipped directly to you, we’ll issue a gift credit once we receive the return.
🚫 If the gift-giver had it shipped to themselves first, we’ll refund them, and they’ll know you returned it (awkward).

Return Shipping: Who Pays?

  • You pay for return shipping. We don’t cover that cost.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you get a refund, the return shipping cost will be deducted.
